Silver Nano Health Technology
Silver Nano Health Technology What is it?
To explain simply, Silver Nano health is a technology that some manufacturers are implemented into many of its appliances, which is meant to provide “strong anti-bacterial and deodorising” effects. The reason they call it the Silver Nano is because ionised silver is actually used in the technology, the silver is meant to attract and kill off bad bacteria. How does it work? Without trying to put you to sleep, I will attempt to explain how the technology works. When the tiny Silver Nano particles touch or come into contact with bacteria, they kill off, or suppress the life of the bacteria, which in turn inhibits cell growth. Samsung, one manufacturer using the technology claim that it removes 99.9% of all harmful bacteria within 24 hours of it being applied.
To give you an example of Silver nano health technology, Samsung’s new front load washing machines are just one of the appliances that are now using the Silver Nano health technology. When a wash cycle is started, billions of silver ions are released and dissolve into the water, killing off bad bacteria. At the same time, your clothes are coated in the silver, which they claim will protect them for up to 30 days after the initial wash. Because the silver kills bacteria, it is said to kill bad odours in their tracks, so Samsung has applied the Silver Nano health coating to the inner walls of some of its refrigerators. This helps to keep the fridge smelling nice and clean, while preventing the spread of bacteria and fungi.
So is it worth it?
Is the Silver Nano Health technology…
something that we will see applied to all appliances in future, or will it be like a lot of other fads which we see phase out over the next few years? Well, I think the answer to this question comes down to the fact of, do we need it? Do we actually need silver nano health enhanced cleaning system in our appliances, or are the current products good enough? To be fair I don’t see the harm in the silver nano health technology, anything that has the smallest chance of keeping us healthy and hygienic has to be a good thing, but it really comes down to whether you are willing to fork out the extra from your back pocket.
Individual Health Insurance
Individual Health Insurance
If your employer does not offer group insurance, or if the insurance offered is very limited, you can buy an Individual Health Insurance policy. You can get fee-for-service, HMO, or PPO protection. But you should compare your options and shop carefully because coverage and costs vary from company to company. Individual health insurance plans typically do not offer benefits as broad as those in group plans. If you get a noncancelable policy (also called a guaranteed renewable policy), then you will receive individual health insurance under that policy as long as you keep paying the monthly premium. The insurance company can raise the cost, but cannot cancel your coverage. Many companies now offer a conditionally renewable policy. This means that the insurance company can cancel all policies like yours, not just yours. This protects you from being singled out. But it doesn’t protect you from losing your individual health insurance. Before you buy any individual health insurance policy, make sure you know what it will pay for…and what it won’t. To find out about individual health insurance plans, you can speak to us directly or send an email from our about page.
Tips When Shopping For Individual Health Insurance:
* Shop carefully. Policies differ widely in coverage and cost. Compare different insurance companies via an independent broker. Be sure to ask your agent to show you policies from several insurers so you can compare them.
* Make sure the policy protects you from large medical costs.
* Read and understand the policy. Make sure it provides the kind of coverage that’s right for you. You don’t want unpleasant surprises when you’re sick or in the hospital.
* Check to see that the policy states: the date that the policy will begin paying (some have a waiting period before coverage begins), and what is covered or excluded from coverage.
* It is a Federal law that you have a ” 10 day free look”. This means that you get at least 10 days to look over your policy after you receive it. If you decide it is not for you, you can return it and have your premium refunded.
* Beware of single disease insurance policies. There are some polices that offer protection for only one disease, such as cancer.
There are many different types of individual health insurance. Each one has pros and cons. There is no single “best” plan. The health plan that’s right for a single person may not be best for a family with small children. And a plan that works for one family may not be right for another.
Individual Health Insurance
Choosing an individual health insurance plan is not unlike making any other major purchase: You pick the individual health plan that meets your needs and your budget. For most people, this means deciding which plan is worth the cost. As an example, plans that allow you the most choices in doctors and hospitals also tend to cost more than plans that limit choices. Plans that help to manage the care you receive usually cost you less, but you give up some freedom of choice.
Cost isn’t the only thing to consider when buying individual health insurance. You also need to consider what benefits are covered. You need to compare plans carefully for both cost and coverage.
Ideally, you should deal with an independent insurance broker. An independent broker will assist in finding you coverage from several different insurance carriers. The more choices the better it works out for you in finding the right Individual Health Insurance plan.
A Look At Florida Group Health Insurance Plans
Florida Group Health Insurance Plans
Florida Group Health Insurance Plans: A significant number of Americans are insured under group health plans and the rules governing group plans in the state of Florida are similar to those seen in many other states, although there are several differences which might apply for public employees.
To join a group health plan you must first be eligible for memberships of the scheme. For instance, while an employer may operate a group health scheme, it might not be open to everybody, perhaps being aimed at only full-time workers. Additionally, the scheme may be run by a Health Management Organization (HMO) and you may find that you are living outside of the HMO’s service area.
Assuming that you are eligible to participate in the scheme then you have to be allowed to join whatever your state of health. For this purpose your state of health refers to your current health, taking into account any disability which you may have, as well as your previous medical history. It should also be noted that you cannot be excluded on the basis of genetic information.
It must be understood here that, while your employer is allowed to exclude you from a group health insurance scheme because you do not for instance work enough hours, he is not permitted to exclude you based solely on your current or prior medical history.
Most group health insurance plans have an enrollment period during which you must elect to join the scheme which may typically be within about 30 days or joining the company. However, if you decide not to join a group health insurance plan at this stage then your employer must give you the opportunity to join during what is often called a special enrollment period where particular changes take place within your family. Such changes may include such things as marriage, the adoption of a child and the loss of alternative health insurance cover as the result of such things as the cessation of cover being provided through another family member because of death, legal separation, divorce, termination, retirement, reduction in working hours and similar changes.
Almost all group health insurance plans will also normally have a waiting period for membership which will typically be anywhere from 30 days to about 3 months. This waiting period must be applied consistently to all employees and during this time an employee is not covered by the group scheme.
Where the group scheme which you are joining is being operated by an HMO then the HMO can also require a waiting period (often known as an affiliation period) where you will once again not be covered by group health insurance. HMO affiliation periods cannot normally be greater than 2 months and where a waiting period is required the HMO is not allowed to then impose any pre-existing condition exclusion periods.
Florida Group Health Insurance Plans
Under the provisions of Florida law any group health insurance plan which provides dependent cover also has to provide cover automatically for newborns, newly adopted children and children who are placed for adoption for 31 days from the date of birth, adoption or placement. The can also require parents to register such children with the group health insurance scheme within this 31 day period for cover to continue thereafter.
For parents caring for disabled children who are covered under a group health insurance plan cover will generally continue beyond the age when a child would cease to qualify as a dependent, as long as the parents are able to show that the person in question cannot support himself because of mental or physical disability and that they are largely dependent upon the group health insurance plan member for support.
If you are working for an employer with at least 50 employees then you may take a leave of absence without losing your priveledge to enjoy group health insurance for up to 12 weeks in certain circumstances. This protection is guaranteed under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) to cover such things as childbirth, sickness or the need to take care of a seriously ill member of your family.
Federal law allows states down to local government level to exempt government employees from specific coverage in self-insured group health insurance plans and a lot of public employers in Florida take advantage of this to a greater or lesser degree. Because exemptions vary widely from one employer to the next it is wise to find out the precise coverage provided if you are a public employee. These details can also be found by contacting The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) which maintains a list of exemptions for individual employers with regards to group health insurance.
In spite of the fact that under Florida law you cannot be excluded from membership of any Florida Group Health Insurance Plans for reasons of health, there are some circumstances in which exclusion periods may be imposed for pre-existing conditions.

Benefits of Nutrition Supplements
Nutrition Supplements
Nutrition supplements are not only necessary but are indispensable even for those persons eating balanced diets. There are several advantages that bodybuilding nutrition supplements are able to provide humans that normal food is not able to give.
Let us take a brief look at the benefits of nutrition supplements, as the first step in a nutrition guide.
Healthy nutrition increases energy both in body and in mind It provides relaxation to the mind and the various body parts Bodybuilding supplements help in beating stress and fatigue Nutrition supplements sharpens the mind and improves memory power Healthy nutrition is a great facilitator of detoxification and in overcoming addiction Nutrition supplements assist you in achieving internal calmness and a connected feeling All the above processes help in elevating the overall mood, resulting in higher work efficiency
Healthy nutrition is a natural process that gives you the same or even higher energy boost and mood relaxation from tea, coffee, tobacco, liquors, drugs, etc., without their harmful side effects
Body-mind complex should not be violated
The major difference between these bodybuilding nutrition supplements and the above listed harmful materials is that the natural nutrition supplements work with the innate design of your body and not against it. All addictive materials definitely work against the body-mind system, though they might appear to be working with them.
They do provide stimulation and relaxation. That could not be denied. However, the harmful side effects from drinks, drugs, and tobacco far exceed the momentary benefits derived from them. They become an addiction. They leave you exhausted and run down in the long run, because they work against the natural body system. Constant exposure to such violation of the body and mind leads to the dislocation of internal harmony. Disastrous results ensue.
Nutrition Supplements: Right nutrition guide to healthy life
Nutrition supplements are the exact opposite of the above listed harmful items in functioning. They not only work the body-mind system but enhance the natural abilities inherent in our complex physical structure. There is nothing miraculous about healthy nutrition and bodybuilding nutrition supplements. By nature, they are designed to supplement and compliment the various body functions and mental activities.
They are similar in nearly all the aspects to the various chemicals and fluids that we have in our body and brain. Vitamins, minerals, and amino acids present in our body control the function of the various body parts and the activities of the brain. The nutrition supplements just enhance the energy present in the body to higher levels, increase the focusing power of the mind, and usher in overall well being.
Best Individual Health Insurance
Finding The Best Individual Health Insurance Plan
Which Individual Health Insurance Plan is Right for Me?
Managed health care plans are comparatively cheaper than the fee-for-service health plans. However, if you need to be hospitalized, then you’ll first need the approval of the insurance company — otherwise you may not be covered for the medical and hospital bills.
Fee-for-service are the traditional health care plans and offer you the freedom to choose your own service providers and hospitals. At the same time, these individual health insurance plans are more expensive than managed care plans.
To decide which plan suits you best, you need to consider many factors. For example, you may be traveling frequently. If you choose the managed care health program, you may face difficulties, since the doctors and hospitals covered by these plans are restricted. If the listed medical professionals are not present in your area, you will not be covered for the medical bills.
You must become very familiar with how your plan works if you are going to ensure quality medical care. Some plans have their report cards, which are reports of surveys conducted on consumer feedback, preventive care, follow-ups of test results and more. Additionally, you can also talk to the current members of the plan to get their feedback. Also, keep a lookout for magazine articles rating individual health insurance plans.
Low Cost Health Insurance Revealed – Most Common Health Insurance Questions
Understanding health insurance plans is very confusing for most consumers. It doesn’t matter whether you buying health insurance for the first time or just want to consider changing plans. We spoke to some of the industry experts and got answer to some of the most frequently asked questions.
What kinds of individual and family insurance plans are available?
There are three types of Individual and family health insurance plans described as either “indemnity”,”PPO” and “managed-care” plans. Put broadly, the major differences concern choice of healthcare providers, out-of-pocket costs and how bills are paid. Typically, PPO plans offer a broader selection of healthcare providers than managed care plans. Indemnity plans pay their share of the costs for covered services only after they receive a bill (which means that you may have to pay up front and then obtain reimbursement from your health insurance company).
There are several different types of health insurance plans. These include HMO, PPO, and POS plans. HMO’s are managed care as the insurance company determines who your doctors are and what care you will receive. POS plans are geographically focused plans that are a cross between a HMO and PPO. PPO’s make use of healthcare provider networks and you are free to choose your own doctors within the network. Healthcare providers within a network agree to perform services for PPO plan patients at pre-negotiated rates and will usually submit the claim to the insurance company for you. In general, you’ll have less paperwork and lower out-of-pocket costs with a PPO health insurance plan. You’ll have an even broader choice of healthcare providers with an indemnity plan because there is not network; it’s any doctor, any hospital, anywhere.
When can I start making appointments with my physician?
For individual insurance coverage, it depends on how long it takes for your enrollment papers to be processed through underwriting and how long it takes to review your medical records for preexisting conditions. It may take anywhere from two weeks to three months after you have submitted your enrollment paperwork plan carrier to complete underwriting. This delay depends on how long it takes to get records from your physician. Your policy only becomes effective when underwriting is completed and the insurer has agreed to issue a policy. You may see your physician after the effective date.
My spouse is losing his/her job and won’t have insurance. When can I add him/her to my health insurance?
If you have group insurance, you may add you spouse during the open enrollment period. But for individual insurance, you may submit you spouse’s application and proceed through the enrollment process at any time.
How do I change health plans?
Each year during the open enrollment period, you may elect to change your health plan carrier under group insurance. You may change your plan at anytime if you have individual insurance.
Are there preexisting condition limitations if I change health plans?
There is no preexisting condition limitation under your new plan when you transfer plans under group insurance. Any condition for which you are receiving treatment prior to your coverage change will be covered immediately by your new plan.
What happens to my health insurance when I retire?
This can be a scary situation. Retirement typically means you are older and may have a possible accumulation of preexisting conditions, which could make you uninsurable, or your preexisting conditions could be excluded. Meaning, you suddenly have to cover the cost of expensive meds or care. Fortunately, Colorado is one of 26 states that provide a safety net through a high risk uninsurable pool. If you have had coverage within 60 days, your preexisting conditions are covered immediately. Otherwise your preexisting conditions will be covered within six months as long as you are a resident of Colorado. You may find further information about this type of coverage at www.covercolorado.org.
What happens to my health insurance when I resign from a job?
You are entitled to continue the health coverage for up to 18 months under a Federal law referred to as COBRA. Cost of coverage is borne fully by the employee.
We will be having a child soon. How do I add this child to my health and dental insurance coverage?
You may notify and add new born children within 30 days of their birth date. Adopted children may be added after they fill out an application and go through the enrollment process.
Strict Weight Loss Diet
Strict Weight Loss Diet
Following a strict weight loss diet requires a great deal of discipline, sacrifice, and reconditioning of the way you think about food. But losing weight should not have to be difficult. Did you know that it is entirely possible to experience rapid weight loss without the use of diet pills, without cutting back on the quantity of the food, without sacrificing fats or carbs, and without exercising?
The calorie shifting diet, unlike other mainstream diets, does not require much in the way of sacrifice. You can eat as much food as you want at every meal until you are satisfied. You get to eat food from each of the four major food groups. You never feel hungry and your cravings for food never go unfulfilled.
The calorie shifting diet is based on the principle that it is possible to manipulate your body’s metabolism at will and induce weight loss through the stimulation of the hormones that are responsible for burning fat cells in your body. This may sound like what a diet pill does. But in reality, it is possible to achieve rapid weight loss results through natural meals, simply by shifting the types of calories you consume rotationally from meal to meal over the course of each day.
Your body’s metabolism reacts to the absence or the presence of certain nutrients in your system by either consuming them for energy or storing them as fat. Consumed in the right combination, you can recondition your metabolism to believe that it is being deprived of certain nutrients and thus tap into your fat stores for energy. But by the time your body begins to burn fat, you reintroduce that nutrient back into your system and then withhold another type of nutrient. Because different types of foods have different densities, you might eat fruits and vegetables at one meal and breads at another meal, but because fruits and vegetables are lighter, you will be eating fewer calories at that meal than if you eat bread at your meal. So even though you are eating to your satisfaction at each meal, you are indirectly also consuming fewer calories.
Thus there is no need to follow a strict weight loss diet when you can follow a diet such as this. While on this diet, you can expect to lose 9 pounds every 11 days.
Rules for Strict Weight Loss Diet
There are only 4 basic rules to this diet:
Eat as much food as you want at each meal until you are satisfied but not too full. Overeating is counterproductive on any diet. Space your meals out by at least 2.5 to 3 hours. You should give your body ample time to completely digest its food from the previous meal before you eat your next meal. You are required to take a 3-day break from your diet every 12th through 14th days. This will give your body a chance to rest from the rapid weight loss you will be undergoing. You must eat four meals a day according to the calorie shifting diet’s personalized meal planner.
Here is a sample diet plan that illustrates how this diet works. The diet actually is designed to work in 11-day cycles, but only 3 days are shown here for brevity. Keep in mind that you can eat your four daily meals in any order you want during each respective day.
On day #1, your four meals of the day could look like this, depending on the custom choices you make when you generate your diet plan:
Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs Meal
Lunch: Sandwich (any type)
Dinner: Tuna Salad
Snack: Flavored Oatmeal
You can of course shuffle these meals around and eat them in any order on that day. For example, you can have oatmeal for breakfast and scrambled eggs for dinner, and a sandwich as your “snack”.
On Day #2, your meal plan would look like this. Note that this meal plan is based on two things- your custom choices in your meal plan, and is based on what you eat on Day #1… If you change what you ate on Day #1, your food choices would be different on Day #2, and Day #3 subsequently:
Breakfast: Cottage Cheese
Lunch: Scrambled Eggs [and] Mixed Vegetables
Dinner: Chicken
Snack: Banana Milk Shake
Again, you can shuffle these meals around and eat them in any order you wish on that day. And of course, you can eat as much as you want at each meal. So there is no limit on how much chicken you would have at dinner, for example, as long as you do not eat until you are too full.
And here is Day #3:
Breakfast: ottage Cheese
Lunch: Fish Filet
Dinner: Fruit Salad
Snack: Chicken
As is evident from the meal plan above, this is an idiot-proof but Strict Weight Loss Diet that does not require much discipline, commitment of willpower, or sacrifice, because you are practically eating as much as you want of every food group.

Nutrition is only one part of your body building plan. I recently put a number of American Body Building products to the test to siphon out the products that really do work to the ones that are pretty useless.
What are the factors determining your health insurance premium?
There are several factors that can determine your health insurance premium on an individual health insurance product. The premium equation typically looks like this: Base Rate x Area Factor x Underwriting Factor x Tobacco Factor x Modal Premium Factor
Let’s take a look at each piece of the premium equation and its impact on the overall premium. The first piece of the equation is the base rate. This is the rate established by the insurance company based on projected claim costs by age and gender. Also included in the base rate are things like administrative expenses, profit, and premium taxes. Different base rates can be established based on benefit levels such as deductible, coinsurance, co-payments, etc.
The base rate is then multiplied by the area factor. Area factors are used to adjust for higher or lower claim costs based upon medical costs and medical utilization by area. These areas can be as broad as state based and as narrow as a three digit zip code area.
Underwriting factors are the next factor in the premium equation. Underwriters look at past health conditions based on information contained on the insurance application and information obtained through medical records and paramedical exams. Health conditions are assigned debits based upon statistical analysis of past claims to determine an appropriate health rating classification. Height and weight charts are also typically assigned debits by category and impact the debit total assigned to a proposed insured. These debits are added together to determine whether someone is a preferred, standard, or substandard risk, and the corresponding rating factor is assigned.
Tobacco factors are the fourth part of the equation. Depending on how the base rates were set up (smoker versus non-smoker) this factor will either reduce or increase premiums from the base rate table.
The final factor is the modal premium factor. Monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual are typical modes premiums are paid in and each is assigned a factor. Some companies will give a discount off the monthly mode if an automatic bank withdrawal option is selected.
Let’s now look at how it all comes together. An example of the above equation would be a 25 year old male interested in a $500 deductible health insurance policy. The sample base rate for this individual is $100. The area factor where he lives is .90. He is very healthy and can be issued as a preferred risk, and the insurer has assigned a .80 factor for preferred risks. He doesn’t smoke and the insurer built their standard base rates on a non-smoker basis, so his factor in this case is 1.0. Finally, he decides to pay quarterly and the insurer has assigned a factor of 3.0 to establish a quarterly rate.
The equation then looks like this: $100 x .90 x .80 x 1.0 x 3.0 = $216 per quarter
